Rules

EXTENDED RULES

1. General Conduct

Respect: Harassment, racism, sexism, or hate speech towards other players or staff is forbidden.
Impersonation: Impersonating Gamemasters (GMs) or other players is strictly prohibited.
Privacy: Doxxing (sharing personal information) or sharing intimate, non-consensual media is prohibited.

2. Gameplay Rules

Third-Party Tools (Bots/Macros): Use of auto-attack bots, macro programs, or packet editors is banned. The game must be played by a human.
Multi-Clienting: Servers definition and strict limit is: a maximum of 2 clients active at once per player.
Kill Stealing (KS): Taking a monster that another player is currently fighting is prohibited, especially in leveling maps.
Mob Dumping/Training: Intentionally pulling large groups of monsters onto other players to make them die is forbidden. 

3. Economy and Trading

Real Money Trading (RMT): Selling in-game items, currency, or services for real-world money is prohibited.
Exploiting: Intentionally using game bugs to duplicate items or gain an unfair advantage in the economy is prohibited.

4. War of Emperium (WoE)

Guild Alliance Limits: Uses standard RO WoE ruleset here. Additional rules to be listed.
Castle Management: All players can enter castles outside of WoE hours. PvP is active within the castle area. Additional rules to be listed.

5. Accounts and Staff

Account limitations: There is a limit of 2 account(s) per person, violation of this will lead to suspension and potential ban. If you share your connection with multiple people specify accordingly to the Gamemaster.
Account Security: Players are responsible for their own account security. Sharing accounts is allowed, but a Gamemaster will not mediate if the account is stolen.
Staff Interaction: Scamming, lying to staff members or any fraudulent/untruthful communication is a permanent bannable offense. 

SIMPLIFIED RULES

Accounts: There is a maxium of 2 account(s) per IP address, if you share your connection with multiple players, contact Gamemaster to verify.
Dual-clienting: In our early stages, dual-clienting is permitted with a maxium of 2 characters simultaneously.
Behavioral: No insulting, racism, sexism, or discrimination in public channels or direct messages. Harassment of players or staff is strictly forbidden.
Gameplay Integrity: Usage of third-party software (bots/hacks) to automate gameplay or gain unfair advantages is strictly prohibited.
Economy & Trading: Real Money Trading (RMT) is forbidden, as are scams designed to steal items or zeny from other players.
Naming Conventions: Character names, guild names, and guild emblems must be appropriate and not contain offensive language.
Griefing & Exploits: Intentionally disrupting others' gameplay, such as abusing skill mechanics (e.g., using Ice Wall to trap players or monsters), is forbidden.
WoE Specific: During War of Emperium, using specific skills to block castle entrances (e.g., placing warp portals on top of warp points) is restricted to ensure fairness.
Account Safety: Impersonating staff or other players to scam or misinform is a serious offense.
